Sky On Fire!

This shot was taken by the roadside when we were on the way to an uncle's house in Pandamaran. I wish I could set up my new GND for this shot but somehow I had to get it captured quickly as we were already late (because we were lost!) for the BBQ invitation. I even felt a little bit inconvenience to shoot by a very busy roadside with lots of trucks passing by our car with my precious family in it. So just get it done and move away quickly.

I used Aperture Priority mode and the rest was set to follow suit for an optimized image. I didn't do much justice with this image as the sky was way more beautiful that day. I really wish I could set it up properly that day.

Wedding Samples

Here are some samples of wedding photography done recently. I am yet to find a proper channel to display the rest of it. Flickr would be a good choice but I'm not in a hurry to upgrade my account soon.

For the time being, by displaying a selected few is a better option. These are the collections from the past and any future wedding photos will eventually be updated in new post.

Any enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact me via email at i_chayadie@yahoo.com

Thanks for viewing and I'm looking forward to be at your service.

Selamat Hari Raya Maaf Zahir Batin

This Hari Raya has brought us 1210km across the southern half hemisphere of peninsular Malaysia, from the west coast to the south, to the east coast and finally back safely to the Klang Valley.

A journey with lots of opportunities for nice photograph but somehow I've missed most of it (or rather let it passed) due to some certain unavoidable constraints.

(19/9) KL - JB
(20/9) JB - KUANTAN - KEMAMAN
(21/9) KEMAMAN - KUALA TERENGGANU - KEMAMAN (halfway, mission aborted)
(22/9) KEMAMAN - KUALA LUMPUR

Probably I wasn't excited enough since I couldn't get my hands on the new ND Grad. It supposed to be delivered just in time before the trip. I had to use the same old trick in capturing some worthy photos. However, if I ever did receive the new gadget, the weather was a disappointment anyway, hence the aborted mission on the 21st.

Anyway, we had a considerably good Hari Raya celebration.

Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir dan Batin to everyone!
